Welcome! We thank you for visiting. We opened on November 2000 with the goal to provide useful information and trusted products to aquarium enthusiasts and to actively encourage others to bring a small piece of the aquatic world into their home.

Who is ReefGeek
We are a small, retail only business. We are not a large retail store with a huge warehouse, costly infrastructure, and a large impersonal staff. We are not a full line distributor who has to deal with the difficult task of balancing relationships with manufacturers, retail stores, and retail customers. Our only concern is providing you the end user with high quality products, great service, and useful information. We stand behind every product we sell and we will not compromise quality or service just to make a few extra bucks.

When you deal with ReefGeek, your dealing with two avid aquarium enthusiasts who have a unique set of skills that lend them to running a successful and long lasting company.
  • Gregory Morgan: merchandising, marketing, financials and logistics.
  • Justin Hardin: Web site design and development, database administration, product support, and most technical issues.
Our Business Philosophy
On the surface we are in the aquarium business, but in actuality we are in the "people" business. Sure product, pricing, service, convenience all matter. But bottomline, our success depends on the quality of the relationships we have with our customers, vendors and the communities in which we do business. We further realize that these relationships need to be grounded in trust. For us, trust is built on personal interactions: sharing personal feelings and opinions, a laugh, tips on maintaining a successful aquarium, and the guarantee of value and customer service.

We also believe that we all have a responsibility to protect the aquatic environments which make this hobby possible and to contribute to the global society to which we all belong. We encourage to do your part to help protect not only aquatic ecosystems, but all environments from those in your neighborhood to those around the globe.
