Our goal is to help you become a successful aquarist and we look at ourselves as aquarium guides with the goal of providing you with the information you need to make intelligent decisions regarding your individual aquarium needs. Ultimately we want to build a long-lasting relationship with you and we will never sacrifice that relationship for short-term gain by trying to sell you something you don’t need.
2. Unsurpassed attention to detail
From individually inspecting every light bulb before it leaves our facility to help insure that you will rarely, if ever, have a problem with any of our bulbs. To taking the extra time to make sure your order is packed extremely well to help insure it arrives safely. (For lack of a better word we are a bit anal about our packing.) To adding an extra touch to each order just like a five-star hotel would leave a mint on your pillow.
3. Our service is never ending
We believe that our relationship doesn’t necessarily begin when you place an order, nor does it end once the products arrive at your door. In fact, we encourage you to contact us with any questions you may have regardless of whether or not you’ve actually placed an order with us.
4. Dealing directly with knowledgeable aquarists
Unlike larger companies with impersonal, uninformed or badly informed "customer service specialists" when you conduct business with ReefGeek you are dealing directly with folks who have an intimate knowledge of the products we carry. In fact, we have taken apart and tested almost all the products we carry. You are also dealing directly with the folks who are empowered to quickly resolve any service issues you may have.
5. Available
Although we are not yet open 24/7 we try to make ourselves as available to our customers as much as possible. We have a toll free number (866-295-9230) and we are open 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday). We also respond to most customer e-mails within a few hours.
And, of course, you have our personal guarantee of satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with a particular product you can return it to us for a refund of the product price. (Please Note: Return of electrical equipment and light bulbs is limited to 30 days from the date of purchase. Beyond 30 days, electrical equipment and light bulbs are covered by the manufacturer's warranty and should be returned directly to the manufacturer.)

We stock most of the products we sell and are committed to shipping all in-stock items* within 1 business day. In fact, all in stock orders placed before 2:00 PM Pacific Time will ship out the same business day. That’s right, in before 2:00 PM, out the same business day. We guarantee it. If your order doesn’t ship when promise we will give 5% off, up to a maximum of $15 or a free shipping upgrade. Even the small percentage of orders that are shipped factory-direct still ship quickly, usually leaving within 1-3 business days. With these quick turn-around times we are usually able to deliver your order to you within 5-7 business days of placing an order.
* On rare occasion, an item you ordered will not be in stock and will not be able to ship in a timely manner. If this occurs, we promise to notify you PRIOR to finalizing your order and let you decide whether you'd like to keep the order open or cancel it without penalty.
